I finished reading your book, “Soaring like an Eagle” this week. I love giving feedback to the authors I know . First and foremost,Your life story is remarkable and truly inspiring! It’s a story of a strong virtuous man with an indomitable spirit. I drew a lot of lessons, as well. I am glad and grateful that you wrote it. I love the authenticity of your voice. This is something we have lost in post truth age , in which we live in .
Second , You are a man of great faith and a huge vision . Unlike many in our generation , you dreamt big and more importantly, you decided to pursue your vision and dreams faithfully. I salute your beloved mother, for her sacrifice and courage (I now know where the philanthropic spirit came from) ; your wife for being a great pillar and your principal at Chinga for instilling in you a spirit of excellence and a strong sense of self(our young men today, struggle with issues of low self esteem – I believe this story will help those who will come across it).
Finally, one other common factor ,I share with you is the Full Gospel Churches of Kenya (FGCK) . I personally know , Bishop Francis Namuya and Rev Thomas Ekai Eramram and I have known them for over 35 years : My father, Andrew Kaituko is the pioneer pastor of FGCK. He is the one who planted the first church in Lodwar in 1978. He is the mentor of the two gentlemen. Rev Ekai was in Nairobi recently and he came over to see me in the office. He is now retired . Your Kakuma pastor , Rev Namuya,is now the Regional Bishop for Turkana. God bless you and continue to expanding your territory as he did to Jabesh. Have a great Sunday!
