The human mind thirsts for a good book the same way the sword yearns for a perfect grindstone, if it is to keep its edge forever as sharp.
This must be the exact reason why so many Kenyans in the USA are grabbing the books,‘Soaring like an Eagle’ and ‘Unleash your full potential’ like hot cake. These books are authored by leading philanthropist, writer and Optiven Group CEO, George Wachiuri.
The two books are extremely inspirational and Kenyans in the diaspora are pleased to read about this very successful East African entrepreneur.
The proceeds of these books go to the foundation – www.optivenfoundation.org ; which is a Kenyan-based organization that is involved in philanthropic works on the areas of poverty alleviation, environmental protection, education and health. The Foundation is an offshoot of Optiven Limited.
Speaking at the Wakenya Pamoja Madaraka Day Celebration, South Shore Massachusetts, Mr Wachiuri was all exuberant as he looked into the future. He promises his enthusiasts to look forward to many other titles by his name, at the nearest bookshop shelves. He plans to author at least 40 books under his name. The event which was co-sponsored by Optiven was also attended by US Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. Robinson Njeru Githae.
“I believe that one of the best ways to positively impact on the society is through writing and publishing superlative inspirational books. I plan to make sure that I transfer to ink and paper, all the wonderful knowledge and experiences that I have accumulated in my entrepreneurial and private life,” says Wachiuri.
Wachiuri is a multi-talented leader of the 21st century. Besides leading an award winning real estate firm (Optiven Limited) based in Kenya, he is involved in motivational speaking, mentorship and philanthropy works.
