The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be, these are wise words from Ralph Waldo Emerson, renowned American essayist and philosopher. And in order to become the person that you dream of becoming, you must purpose to execute the following:

Set up Goals

Come up with goals that you project to achieve, both long term and short term. While at it, make sure that you have reasonable timeline for all the goals that you have set for yourself. And don’t forget to always consistently track your progress.

Develop SMART strategies

Come up with strategies that will help you achieve your goals. All your strategies must be SMART – Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time-Bound.

Develop an Ability to smell the Coffee

This world is full of great opportunities that if tapped into could propel you to the next level of success. Always stay on an opportunity-scouting mode for the numerous but workable opportunities around you.

Identify a working team that can push you

Some of the best long distance athletes are pushed by their pacesetters all the way to the finish line. Teamwork is always important in helping you maximize your God-given potentials. Always surround yourself with positive people who will be at hand to assist you in your upward trajectory.

Focus, Determination and Discipline

Always stay focused. Stay on the track no matter what, and remember that discipline will help you avoid any unnecessary distractions that may come your way. It is also important for you to keep in mind that the easiest way that you may lose yourself is when you opt to listen to naysayers. If you opt to listen to them, you will become deaf to success!
