When I think of mentality, I think of a quote by Pat Riley who said, “If you have a positive attitude and constantly strive to give your best effort, eventually you will overcome your immediate problems and find you are ready for greater challenges.” Basically, a healthy mindset can help you achieve remarkable things. Here are a number of mentalities that limit us in achieving our goals and aspirations.
Often we say that this is how we do it. This means you can not change what you don’t question. To question means to conquer the status quo
Some people call it the defeated mentality. Like success, scarcity and abundance start with mentality. The greatest poverty is the poverty of the mind. This limits our view of what we can do owing to scarcity.
Beggars believe everything should be done for them despite being able but are always in lack. They are entitled to every kind of help including financial assistance. They refuse to grow up and behave like children in need of babysitting.
Its like being tethered in a particular space causing a mental barrier over time. This is a result of refusing to move the creative boarders of thinking. What do you need to cut off the string that tethers you to a space? You have the freedom to think
Often adjusted to fit what has happened in the past by comparison. This can be replaced with a winning mentality. Change how you see yourself.
The picture you see is oft not always what you think. Check what rules your mind, because this rules your life.
